Tuesday - Amazing Air
11AM - 4PM

FREE, WITH NO NEED TO BOOK!

We are told air is all around us, but how do we KNOW? Where is the PROOF?!
In this interactive show, we'll be working together to make some observations, then doing some experiments to touch, hear, see, smell and taste the air. We'll gather lots of evidence to prove that air really is there!

Thursday - Fun Science Shows

Every 30 minutes between 11.30AM and 2.30PM

FREE, WITH NO NEED TO BOOK!

Fun Science will be putting on six action packed shows throughout the day and needs noisy children (and adults) to come and be our audience! Come and see how chemical reactions can cause bubbles, colour changes and eruptions, learn all about air or see lightning appear before your very eyes. If you are lucky you may even get a chance to come and volunteer to have your hair stick up in the air!

None of our shows involve loud bangs or flashing lights but our chemical reaction show does involve a small amount of fire and we do encourage shouting out from the audience in all shows.

Fun Science will be performing three different shows throughout the day and each show will be performed twice. Each show lasts for 15 minutes.

Friday - Make your own Slime, and build and race robots!

Drop-in activities from 11AM to 3PM

Fun Science will be showing you how slime is made and how it helps slugs and snails to move. Come and make your own sticky, gloopy slime and even take it home with you! Will you choose green slime, purple slime or something else?

You can also have a go at programming a robot, help us make and race a robotic snail and play with some robots on our robotics stand. Will your snail win the race or is a slug better at moving and wriggling to the finish line?
