Have a show or activity proposal?

If you have a passion for sharing knowledge and sparking curiosity, the organisers of Swindon’s Festival of Tomorrow would like to hear from you!

Successful proposals will go on to join an illustrious lineup of researchers, industry professionals, artists, writers, organisations, charities, academic institutions, businesses and community groups, with organisations including Swindon-based UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

After over 44,000 people took part in 2026, we're planning 2027 now, with a growing programme of events, displays and activities across town during the February half-term, culminating in a two-day finale event at The Deanery CE Academy in Wichelstowe. Thousands of pupils will also have the opportunity to take part in an inspiring programme of science and arts activities for Swindon schools.

100% success!

The main reason we came was to show our children how interesting and entertaining science can be. The event succeeded 100% in doing this.

Can't remember being at anything like this in Swindon!

We had such a great day! We can't ever remember being at anything like this in Swindon. Our children were so excited to try all the new things and have been talking about it every day since. There was such a friendly, positive atmosphere and the fact that it was free made an incredible difference.

Still talking about it!

My 9 year old grandson is still talking about it 6 days later. He was so enthusiastic after I took him on the Friday his parents took him on the Saturday.
